After two years of building quietly, Manifest is emerging from stealth today with a $60M Series A at a $750M valuation and a new model for AI-native legal services.
When I first met Dan Mishin, most legal AI companies were building copilots and thin model wrappers for lawyers. AI-native services were still deeply non-consensus. Dan and I aligned immediately on the real opportunity in legal: not giving lawyers one more tool, but using AI to provide and power better legal services directly.
That conviction is why Quiet was proud to be the first and only investor in the pre-seed, double down at seed, and co-lead the Series A alongside our friends at Menlo Ventures, First Round Capital, and Kleiner Perkins.
Manifest has started with immigration, a category where legal work is high-stakes, operationally broken, and deeply human. A delayed filing can derail a hiring plan, separate a family, or change the course of someone’s life, yet the industry still runs on emails, scattered status updates, and billable hours.
Manifest has built the alternative: part marketplace, part operating layer, and part technology platform for exceptional lawyers to launch and scale AI-native immigration law firms. It gives those lawyers more time with clients, more consistency across matters, more visibility into the work, and a model built around outcomes instead of hours.
Immigration is the starting point, not the end state. Manifest’s ambition is to bring this model across legal. Exceptional lawyers, a shared brand, centralized back office, and AI-native software layer can make great legal work more scalable, measurable, and accessible. That is how legal services move from fragmented, hourly, and opaque to outcomes, accountability, and scale.
I have written before about the rare founders and teams that quietly compound before the world is paying attention. Manifest is one of those companies. For the last two years, Dan and the team have built with remarkable intensity, clarity, and very little fanfare. They are one of the most talent-dense teams in New York, attacking one of the largest and most important professional services markets in the world. And they are just getting started.
Manifest is hiring aggressively across product, engineering, strategy & operations, growth, sales, and more. If you want to help build the AI-native future of legal services, now is a very good time to join.
Huge congratulations to Dan Mishin, Tara Neuman, James Cariello, Avi Goldenberg, and the whole Manifest team. I’m grateful to have been part of the journey from day zero, and even more excited for what comes next.
